"Watauga" is a Native American word meaning beautiful waters,
and when you visit the shores of the Watauga
River, it's easy to see how it got it's name. The Watauga River stretches approximately 19 miles between Wilbur Dam and Boone Lake offering some of the best fishing and floating in Northeast Tennessee. The river and species of trout are managed by Tennessee Wildlife Resource Agency (TWRA).
Our unique Watauga River getaway is located
on 2 private acres, and features a private
fishing dock and a huge deck overlooking a
setting that takes you back in time. Located
on one of only two trophy trout rivers in
the entire state of Tennessee, our cabin is
the perfect place to escape.
